Day 199/365: Jul 18, 2014

I’m thankful for:

• An understanding husband dealing with his wife’s meltdown.
• Trying a new homemade play dough recipe.
• Flexible and understanding friends when we needed to cancel home group in favor of a low key family evening instead.

Measuring cups + play dough = entertained toddler + sane mommy.

Day 182/365: Jul 1, 2014

I’m thankful for:

• July 4th decoration.
• Making something special out of things I had already on hand.
• My husbands two listening and patient ears.

Hurray for being patriotic and resourceful at the same time!

 

Day 97/365: Apr 7, 2014

I’m thankful for:

• Catching my mom on the phone while it was still her birthday.
• The sweet thankfulness from a stranger after receiving a voluntary greeting from the toddler.
• My husband building me a custom shelf for my large cabinet that had none!

May not be the most awesome picture, but it is most awesome to have a handy and helpful husband!

Day 67/365: Mar 8, 2014

I’m thankful for:

• Blueberry pancakes (made by my better half) to start the day.
• Silly smiles despite the crusty snot dried on the toddler’s nose.
• Finishing my first project using knit fabric, happy with the results.

Yay – another nursing friendly top to add to my collection.
