Day 295/365: Oct 22, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • A holiday we don’t care about for a day off in the middle of the week.
  • Getting to know a family better.
  • Excited play followed by a quiet”er” moment of book reading.

Reading for a moment before getting back to the action.

Day 254/365: Sept 11, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • Watching my near-2-yr-old imitate his 4-yr-old friend.
  • Artichokes on pizza.
  • A random date night – simple and fun.

Fun optical illusions.

Day 247/365: Sept 4, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • The toddler being big and mature enough to sit in his own seat.
  • Two dear friends coming over for dinner.
  • Introduction to a neat new game.

Doesn’t even mind sitting across from me and next to strangers.

Day 223/365: Aug 11, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • A frappuccino, a great friend, and a non-antsy toddler – all at the same time.
  • The realization that it isn’t so bad after all to get the face wet in the bath (as long as he does it himself).
  • Silly, belly laughs from my son.

He would get all startled with the water he poured in his own face and then do a laugh to show he was alright. I love this kid.

Day 171/365: Jun 20, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • A husband’s thoughtful generosity = a chocolate cronut again!
  • Tylenol to help with the little guy’s mild fever.
  • A sweet time of prayer shared with friends.

Mmmm. Now you have a picture to match my thankful post from last week! 😀

Day 158/365: Jun 7, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • A laundry basket (have waited 3 years in SG for a real one)!
  • Our dear friend organizing a bbq for friends outside our condo.
  • Tasty deviled eggs.

Thank you IKEA. (I’m now excited about laundry!)

Day 140/365: May 20, 2014

I’m thankful for:

  • Breakfast shared with my former Bible study leader.
  • The spiritual heritage of this sweet woman.
  • A friend staying out late with me after a long day at work because it was the only time that worked for our schedules.

Such a bright smile lit by the One inside her.
